הֲֽרָאִ֔יתָ כִּֽי־נִכְנַ֥ע אַחְאָ֖ב מִלְּפָנָ֑י יַ֜עַן כִּֽי־נִכְנַ֣ע מִפָּנַ֗י לֹֽא־אבי [אָבִ֤יא] הָֽרָעָה֙ בְּיָמָ֔יו בִּימֵ֣י בְנ֔וֹ אָבִ֥יא הָרָעָ֖ה עַל־בֵּיתֽוֹ׃
'Siehst du, wie Ahab sich vor mir demütigt? Weil er sich vor mir demütigt, werde ich das Böse in seinen Tagen nicht bringen. aber in seinem Sohn's Tage werde ich das Böse auf sein Haus bringen.'

I will not bring the evil. The disaster of this house I will not bring in his days, but the decree that the dogs will lick his blood is not possible to come in the days of his son, but upon him.
